Birth and Postpartum Doula Services

Serving New York City & New Jersey

Someone to hold you, so that you can hold everything else.

Modern birth culture often leaves families without enough support before and after delivery. Becoming a parent is a profound life transition, and every family deserves access to reliable information, compassionate care, and emotional support throughout that journey.

Birth is still surrounded by uncertainty and misinformation, which can create fear and anxiety. Fear can work against the natural flow of labor, making the experience more difficult. Having a knowledgeable, calming, experienced, and unbiased support person by your side can help you move through labor feeling informed, confident, and empowered.

The postpartum period, sometimes called the fourth trimester, is a time when rest, nourishment, and peace of mind are essential. It’s a season of healing, bonding with your baby, and adjusting to your new role as a parent. Partners and family members may need support during this transition as well.

I’m here to support you through every stage of the journey and help create a grounded, loving experience for your growing family.

You’ve got questions, Here are some Answers

  • A doula is a trained professional who provides physical, emotional, and informational support to a birthing person and their family before, during, and after birth.

  • Whenever you feel like you could use a little bit more support. It’s nice to know that there is one person that is always in your corner.

  • According to a 2024 study, “Pregnant patients supported by doulas services are 68% less likely to undergo CD [cesarean delivery] than those receiving standard prenatal care.”

Doulas are also linked to greater milk production, greater satisfaction, better neonatal outcomes, reduced medical intervention, and improved overall well-being for mothers.
